1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Homestead Daily ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Service Description

Homestead Daily is a mobile application designed to help homesteaders and small farmers manage their animals, gardens, production records, and daily tasks. The App includes AI-powered features for plant identification, animal health analysis, and general farm advice.

3. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Free Tier: Basic features are available at no cost and will remain free.
  • Pro & Enterprise Plans: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Cancellation:You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
  • Price Changes:We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes affect their subscription.
  • Free Trials: If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. AI Features Disclaimer

The AI features in Homestead Daily are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.

  • AI-generated advice is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for animal health concerns.
  • Plant identification and disease detection are provided as guidance only and may not always be accurate. Do not consume any plant based solely on AI identification.
  • Agricultural advice provided by the AI assistant is general in nature and may not account for your specific climate, soil conditions, or local regulations.
  • Homestead Daily is not liable for any decisions made based on AI outputs.

6. User Content & Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App (animal records, photos, production logs, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers.
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties.
  • Use the AI features to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or violates any laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homestead Daily and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or livestock, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
